About
Michelle Williams left Newport for New York to make it as a journalist, and her first real assignment drops her into an interview with a prominent lawyer, Victoria Reed, who gets accused of murder days later. Michelle starts digging on her own, more out of stubbornness than assignment.
The investigation runs alongside her actual life in the city: new people, new routines, and relationships that don't stay strictly professional. Work and personal entanglements keep bleeding into each other as she settles in.
Play follows Michelle through her days as she balances the murder case with the ordinary business of adjusting to New York, talking to people, and seeing where certain acquaintances lead. It's a visual novel pace throughout, story and choices over anything mechanical.

- Michelle avoids serious danger and gains a new acquaintance, with whom her relationship has the potential to go beyond friendship;
- unexpectedly, she grows closer to Alicia Gonzalez — the same detective who is on the Kaufman case and who previously denied Michelle an interview;
- we finally understand who is behind the whole murder story;
- Michelle is taking part in her first professional photo shoot, which, if you can convince our heroine, could take on a more revealing and bold character.
- As for technical updates, a photo gallery has been added to the game menu, where new images, including selfies taken by Michelle and other characters, will be added as the story progresses.
- What's new:
- Michelle's adventures continue over the next few days: she meets Victoria in prison, tries to gather information about the incident at the hotel, and eventually faces her first real danger.
- There are three adult scenes, including two versions of a solo scene with Michelle, totaling four scenes.
- The language of the text has been adjusted to reflect General American English. I hope this hasn't made it worse.
- In Chapter 1, the poses of the characters and their clothing were altered in some scenes, and the lighting settings were also modified to make them appear brighter.
- The skin tone of the male characters has been lightened, but I'm concerned this may have resulted in them looking too pale.
