The Choker

Five dealers run the floor at THE CHOKER — slots, blackjack, roulette, crash, towers — each acting like the game underneath them is personal property. You walk in as a gambler. Who decides to notice you is not up to you.

The casino doesn't explain itself, and it doesn't need to. Ownership of the tables is murky, the dealers' loyalties murkier, and the source is upfront that the gambling is just scaffolding: the real game is who ends up paying attention to you, and why.

Play consists of working the casino floor game by game, watching which dealer starts treating your visits as something other than business. The betting is the excuse. The relationships are what the game is actually tracking.
