Five years after Earth made contact with an alien alliance, Liam and Grace are just two people with steady jobs at an ancient research site, until an anomaly buried in that site turns their quiet life upside down. What follows isn't a rescue story so much as a slow unraveling.

Grace gets pulled onto the new director's team after the discovery, an offer that looks like a promotion and works like a trap. Secrecy and political maneuvering follow, and both Liam and Grace end up in relationships they didn't sign up for and can't easily walk back from.

You move through this as a sandbox RPG, working the research site and its people rather than following a fixed script, watching the fallout of Grace's new position play out from both sides. The game is upfront about where its story goes: the netorare here isn't a branch you can avoid, it's the plot.
