Broke, dumped, and convinced the only way back into his ex's good graces is to build a fortune off other people's bodies, the guy behind Studio Empire starts with a rented office he can barely afford and a plan to talk his way to the top. The satire is aimed squarely at his own delusions of competence, since he narrates the whole climb like a mogul while doing the math on rent.

The game runs as a management sim: audition performers, book shoots, juggle budgets, and try to keep your business relationships from becoming something messier, since employees are not shy about testing the boundaries of "professional." Every performer has her own voice and arc, and the shoots, messages, and milestones you unlock are tied to reasons the game bothers to give you rather than just handed over.
