You play Ethan, fresh off a bitter breakup with Maddy and looking for a clean start at island college instead you get an undead outbreak and a roof shared with the family of the woman who dumped you. Closure takes a back seat to survival, and survival means staying under that particular roof for a while.

Day to day, you're navigating a household you didn't choose alongside the people already living in it, with the zombie threat as the excuse that keeps you all stuck together. The game frames this around dating-sim routines and a growing cast rather than combat, so most of your time goes into conversations, choices, and whatever domestic tension builds when your ex's relatives are the only allies you've got left.
