The loop stays simple: deal, bet, watch someone lose an article of clothing, repeat until the table's bare. What holds it together is the sheer volume of writing behind each character, hundreds of thousands of lines total, with plenty of dialogue aimed specifically at whoever else is sitting across from them, so the same matchup rarely plays out the same way twice.
