A dead grandfather's golf course lands in the protagonist's lap, and with it a string of female golfers who turn a quiet inheritance into something far less relaxing than a round of golf should be.

The setup is a business he never asked for. Running the course means fixing up the grounds and getting to know the women who show up to play, and those relationships escalate well past putting tips.

Play revolves around touring the course, working on shots, and building bonds with the golfers who pass through, aiming eventually at a world championship that feels more like an excuse than a goal. The golf is the framework; the real game is what happens between rounds, off the green and out of sight of the leaderboard.
