You're 28, ex-military, now working investigations alongside your girlfriend. The case: dig into the family of an army buddy who died in combat years back. The convenient part is that his mother still rents out his old room, so you move in under that cover and start watching the household up close.

The job puts you inside a home where you're supposed to be gathering information but end up entangled with the people living there instead. What starts as surveillance for the agency turns into something far more personal once you're sharing a roof with the family you're meant to be reporting on.

Play consists of settling into the house, working the investigation angle while day-to-day life with the mother and the rest of the household pulls you in other directions. It's a visual novel paced through days rather than open exploration, with the story doing the steering and your choices deciding how close you let things get.
