Sins of the Neon City

Rick is a broke private detective in Neon City who picks up a demonic artifact off a dead cartel courier and finds out it can hear the filthy thoughts hiding under every polite face in his life. It's a grimy, cynical little noir with a supernatural hook, not a romance.

The Shard of the Abyss feeds on lust, and once Rick starts using it, the composed women around him start cracking open: a secretary, a corporate wife, a club owner, all of them hiding something. He can use the artifact to solve his cases and stay clean, or keep feeding it, corrupting the women he reads and turning himself into exactly the kind of predator the city already assumes he is.

You play Rick's cases and his choices at once, deciding case by case whether to dig for the truth or push people toward ruin, with the story branching toward different endings depending on how much you feed the Shard.
