Silk and Sabre

An explosion sinks both their ships and strands them together on an empty island: Captain Jack Hawthorne, an English pirate who talks more than he fights, and Li Shuying, an Imperial scholar's daughter who wants nothing to do with him. She calls him a barbarian. He calls her an ice queen. The tropical heat doesn't care what either of them thinks.

The setup is simple castaway antagonism: two people who despise each other with no one else around and no way off the island. What starts as mutual contempt gets worn down by proximity, humidity, and the fact that neither of them packed spare clothes.

Play follows the two of them through the wreckage of their old lives and the awkward truce that follows, told through Ren'Py-style scenes and choices rather than any survival mechanics. This is the first release, so the island is still small and the story is just getting started.
