Shadows

A missing girl case gone cold for over a year finally cracks open when a lone detective traces her to an isolated family manor. What's waiting inside the place isn't what any cop training prepares you for.

You play that detective, working the Ruby Pumper disappearance with nothing but one lead and no backup. The manor turns out to be less a crime scene and more a house that swallows people whole, full of residents who are not remotely interested in helping you file a report.

The game moves like a visual novel: you poke around the manor, talk to whoever or whatever lives there, and get pulled deeper into a household running on its own strange rules. The women you meet are not innocent bystanders, and the investigation stops being about finding Ruby fairly early on.
