Returning Lost Time

Twelve years ago you failed the people who mattered, too weak to protect them when it counted. Now you're going back to find out what's left of that, and whether the woman you abandoned wants anything to do with you.

This is a story about a debt you can't be sure is payable. The guilt is the point, not a footnote to it, and the reunion is framed as something you have to earn back rather than something owed to you.

As the male protagonist, you play through the prologue that sets this up, moving toward her and finding out how much of the relationship survived your absence. It's a visual novel built on 3DCG scenes and animated moments, with romance and intimacy that grow out of the reconciliation rather than arriving cold. This is a first chapter, laying groundwork for whatever comes after.
