Seven months in prison ends with nothing waiting for you but an empty house and no money. Your sister Louise, meanwhile, has turned eighteen along with the rest of her hockey team, and the hometown you left looks a lot different now.

The story tracks your attempt to stay out of a cell, scrape together a living, and finish the exams you never got to take, while the people around you complicate things in ways that have nothing to do with any of that. Whether love factors in is left open, not promised.

Day by day you make the choices that decide if you slide back into old habits or actually rebuild something, watching Louise and her teammates as much as anyone in the school setting lets you. It's a slow, dialogue-driven walk through a small town rather than a sandbox with much room to wander, and the early stretch spends most of its time introducing the cast before asking much of the player.
