Max Steele wakes up hungover, next to a dead body, and somehow he's the prime suspect. Not exactly the morning a detective wants.

The setup pushes him into fighting his own arrest, chasing down the real killer while everyone around him seems to have a reason to lie. Six main cases and five interlude episodes carry the investigation forward, mixing genuine mystery-solving with the kind of comedy and distraction that keeps him from ever taking the case too seriously.

Playing out through point-and-click investigation and sandbox exploration, you dig through clues, question suspects, and follow the logic (or the temptation) that each scene offers. This is a first case and reads like one: the groundwork for a larger story rather than the whole thing.
