About
Every corp faction in Night City wants a piece of her, and a former Nomad has to figure out how to keep her out of their hands. That's the whole setup: Militech, Arasaka, Blood Nation, Pacifica, all circling, and you in the middle without much of a plan.
You play that Nomad, working through a story that pulls him deeper into Night City's gang and corporate mess while he tries to track down the people who took someone close to him. It's a straight rescue job dressed up in cyberpunk trouble.
Outside the main thread, the game gives you a sandbox layer to work with: people you've met can be called up, dates can be set (Cheri's the one currently on the books), and quest hints point you toward what's next on both the main story and the side stuff. It's less about juggling systems and more about having an excuse to check in on the cast between story beats, Delamain's daily bad jokes included.
