Power Is a Choice

He already has a devoted wife, money, and comfort, but decides none of that is the point. What he wants is power, and he's willing to do whatever it takes to get it.

That decision turns into a slow climb through the people around him: his parents, new faces drawn into the story, a maid, a prostitute working the dark alley downtown. Each one becomes another door he can choose to walk through or not, and the game leaves that choice to him rather than marching him down one fixed path.

Day to day, it plays like a small sandbox built around that one household and the streets nearby. You talk to people, follow the main story as it's revealed piece by piece, and decide how far the protagonist is willing to go to get what he wants. The early build is still rough around the edges, and the author says as much, but the shape of the thing, a man trading comfort for control, is already there.
