About
Elara comes to Port Nocturne broke and out of options, chasing the recipe for a Grand Panacea that might save her dying mother. The Alchemist Guild has rules for that sort of thing, and the city has none.
She can stay inside the lines with Justiciar Kaelen and the Guild's slow, regulated path, or take shortcuts through the Velvet Syndicate's underworld deals, illicit brews, and the kind of favors that cost more than coin. Either way, Port Nocturne expects payment, and Elara's dignity is one of the currencies on the table.
Day to day, you're running Elara's alchemy work: brewing recipes, managing what little money she has, and picking which patron or which vice she leans on to keep going. Choices accumulate into a corruption track that shifts what scenes and paths open up, so the version of Elara who survives the Guild Ball looks nothing like the one who survives the Syndicate's underbelly.

Spend 5 gold for rumors (hidden grove, Syndicate inspections).
