About
You graduate from the Ankto Pokemon College and set off into a region where the battles hit harder than anywhere else, and where losing one apparently comes with its own kind of reward. The game plays it straight-faced about a very silly premise.
The Ankto region has a reputation for brutal trainers, but it also has a habit of turning defeat into something a lot more personal. That's the whole hook: you're not just here to catch things, you're here to survive fights that don't end quietly.
The core loop is standard turn-based Pokemon combat, but the difficulty is real, and losing to certain trainers or monster girls opens up the game's harem and romance side rather than just sending you back to a Pokemon Center. Expect teasing dialogue, some parody-level humor, and a cast that leans toward the milf and big-ass end of things. You start stocked with Max Revives and Master Balls, which cuts down on the grinding so you can actually get to the fights that matter.
Changelog
- Reduced the difficulty of Gardenia's gym and introduced items into the herb shop.
- Houses by the lake can now be entered.
- Ghost house underground can now be explored.
- The in-game music has been drastically improved, and I’ve tested new art styles for May and Leaf by converting HD digital art into pixelated sprites—a method that worked well for recent scenes and will likely be used moving forward.
- To help you tackle the tough battles without constant healing runs, you now start the game with Max Revives and Master Balls. This should let you focus more on catching and battling, or simply lower the difficulty if you choose to use them freely.
