Peasant Dream Ascension

Coin and renown are how a peasant earns the right to sit the Adventurer's Test, and the dungeon is how that peasant proves they deserve a Gold Rank badge. Nobody hands you either. You go get them.

The village needs favors run and the dungeon needs clearing, and both pay out in the reputation you're grinding toward. Along the way there are girls worth noticing, in the village and at the dungeon camp, and the story lets you pick who you actually fall for rather than sorting everyone into a checklist.

Play runs on turn-based fights against the things living in that dungeon, with points and rank climbing tied to how well you do against them, layered over sandbox exploration of the village and its surrounding camps. It's a grind with a goal at the end of it, not a slideshow with combat bolted on for show.
