Parasite Reforged

Nathan finds a strange fungal growth in the woods and, within days, stops being entirely himself. The thing that gets into him is a hive-mind parasite with one job: breed and expand, using him as the vehicle.

From there it works through the people around him. Family, classmates, whoever's close enough, get pulled in one by one and turned into "Vectors" acting on the parasite's behalf rather than their own.

The player keeps up the appearance of an ordinary life, school, home, family routines, while quietly working to spread the infection underneath it. The developer's own note is that the pacing is uneven right now, a slow opening that snowballs later, and they're still tuning it based on feedback.
