About
Deniable operations, disposable operatives, and a job that stops being simple the moment everything changes. Parallax runs colder than most entries in this genre, more interested in consequence than in spectacle.
You're a professional who follows orders, stays loyal to your squad, and doesn't ask too many questions about who's paying. That arrangement doesn't hold. Identity and control start slipping, loyalties shift, and the relationships that form between missions become the only fixed points left. The near-future conspiracy plot uses that instability as its engine rather than its backdrop.
Play moves through mission work and the downtime around it, where the visual novel's romance and tension actually develop. The near-future setting stays grounded rather than flashy, and the game seems more concerned with what the work does to the people doing it than with the missions themselves.
Changelog
- Decreased the file size of the whole game 2.2gb -> 400mb
- Adjusted how animations are played for better performance, they should no longer stack (hopefully)
