About
Rescued from death, Oridelle owes her Savior everything, and he never lets her forget it. What follows isn't romance so much as a slow dismantling, told without the usual pretense of choice.
Her sole purpose becomes pleasing him. She stops caring what happens to her body or her mind, and the more she submits, the more she cracks, until an alter ego forms just to carry the weight she can no longer hold alone.
There's no steering this one. It's a kinetic novel, so you read and watch rather than decide, following Oridelle's unraveling scene by scene as the abuse and the devotion tangle into something she can't separate anymore. No branches, no alternate endings, just her story playing out the way it was written.
