A pink meteorite lands in John's backyard, and things at home stop being normal. The Orb doesn't do anything flashy on its own; it just leans on everyone in the house until the desires they've been sitting on start leaking out, family ties included.

John lives in this house and finds the rock, but the story is really about what the Orb wakes up in the people around him. Boundaries that used to hold don't anymore, and the change moves through the household rather than staying with one person.

You move John through his own home, poking at the fallout as it spreads room to room and relationship to relationship. It's an early release covering one zone of that house, so the free-roaming side is just getting started rather than fully built out.
