A rooftop hug is all it takes: the protagonist sees his childhood friend in another guy's arms and decides love has curdled into something uglier. He doesn't confront her. He plans to break her instead, methodically, and calls it fair.

The story runs on that one motive. There's no slow burn toward reconciliation here, just a boy convinced that hurting the girl he loves is the only way to answer his own hurt, and a plot that follows him acting on it.

Play stays in visual novel territory: you read through his scheme unfolding, watching how far jealousy pushes him and how much damage the people around him absorb along the way. The voiced scenes and 2D art carry the mood rather than any branching mechanics, so the tension sits in what he chooses to do next, not in menus or stats.
