My Wife Mariko

Matsuda Wataru made it to the top of his law firm and lost most of his youth doing it. He tells you that up front, without much self-pity, which is the closest thing this story has to a hook.

The setup is a man measuring what winning actually cost him, with his marriage to Mariko sitting at the center of that reckoning. Given the netorare framing, the story clearly has more to say about what happened while he was busy climbing, but the source keeps the specifics behind a spoiler wall rather than spelling them out.

Play stays close to the visual novel format: you read Wataru's account of his own life, click through the fallout, and watch the 3DCG scenes render the parts he'd rather not narrate out loud. There's no branching system to speak of here, just his story, told once, the way he remembers it.
