About
A death that doesn't add up, a city where most people have already checked out into a headset while their bodies clock in for work, and a Detective too worn down to let it go. Moonlight sets its mystery inside a near-future where Neural Implants run everything from small talk to dopamine, and one new app lets people abandon their bodies to AI entirely.
You play that Detective, pulled into an investigation that keeps branching into leads nastier and more personal than the one before it. The deeper it goes, the less it looks like an isolated case and the more it looks like something the tech-dominated society would rather stay buried.
The game plays as a story-first visual novel: dialogue, choices, and a slow accumulation of evidence and relationships rather than a checklist of encounters. Romance and intimacy surface along the way, tangled up with the same people feeding you information, so who you trust ends up mattering as much as what you find out.
