Milfheim: The Twisted

Damian grew up in foster care and never knew why his parents dumped him there; now a college student, he returns to his hometown of Milfheim for the break and moves into Helen's house, expecting a quiet vacation with old friends. Instead he starts noticing the gap between Helen's warm smile and whatever she's actually hiding.

The people who raised him turn out to be knotted together in ways he never saw as a kid. Helen goes tense whenever the past comes up, his foster mother has clearly kept things from him, and the women circling him all seem to want something more complicated than friendship. Desire, jealousy, old grief, maternal feelings that aren't quite maternal — Damian gets pulled into it just as he's stepping into adulthood himself.

You play Damian working through that mess: living under Helen's roof, reconnecting with people from his childhood, and slowly prying open secrets nobody in this city wanted opened. The story's built around a growing cast of women tied to his past rather than a single romance, and later updates keep adding to that web rather than resolving it fast.
