Making*Lovers – First Blush

He doesn't believe in casual hookups. This protagonist wants one soul mate, one real love, and he's willing to wait for it rather than settle for whatever his classmates are content with. That conviction is the whole hook of the story.

The setup starts oddly backward: he and the heroine are already dating before either of them is truly attached, and the game follows what happens as two near-strangers try to turn a chance pairing into real affection. Four girls cross his path by coincidence, a childhood friend who wants permanence, a classmate chasing a storybook romance, an underclassman eager to learn love from scratch, and an upperclassman trying to protect the family she cares about, and each relationship has to be built rather than assumed.

Play follows the school routine of a visual novel: spend time with a heroine, work through the awkwardness of a relationship that started before the feelings did, and steer things toward whichever ending that connection earns. It's the student-set follow-up to Making*Lovers, keeping the same worldview but leaning harder into the shyness and hesitation of two people learning each other after the fact rather than before.
