Lust and Agony in Netori:The Ritual of Despair

Chinatsu and her husband settle back into his old village, only to learn its quiet reputation hides a local custom: marriage means nothing once you cross its borders. The tone leans grim rather than playful, more dread than romance.

She moves through the village day by day, and the sandbox structure lets that custom close in on her at its own pace rather than through a fixed script. What starts as a return home turns into something closer to erosion, with her body and her marriage both bearing the weight of it as things progress.

The 2D artwork does the heavy lifting here, and there isn't much beyond the village and its rules to distract from that.
