Life on Mars

A senator's assistant on a terraformed Mars finds himself tangled in his boss's campaign promise to abolish legal polygamy and polyandry, and in his own inability to follow that same rule. The setup is more political than most games in this space bother with, even if it exists mainly to justify why everyone keeps ending up in everyone else's bed.

The century of peace after the Earth-Mars war left both worlds trying to define themselves against each other, and that tension sits in the background of a story that's really about the protagonist's choices around loyalty, jealousy, and who he's willing to share. Whether he backs the senator's anti-polygamy platform or quietly lives against it is left to the player.

You play as the assistant, working through his days between campaign duties and a personal life that keeps drifting into affairs, jealousy, and group arrangements he didn't necessarily plan for. Choices steer relationships rather than combat or resource management, and the interracial, voyeuristic, and swinging elements the tags promise all trace back to that same central conflict between public policy and private appetite.
