Lia and the Gem Journey

Lia sets off on her own, no companions, chasing seven "pure magic jewel raw stones." She barely gets started before she's tricked into working at a brothel instead.

The search for the raw stones is the whole point of the trip, but the game gives her almost nothing to work with. Information on where to actually find them is scarce, and the world around her seems built to keep her broke and stuck.

Between quests you're stuck managing a budget that never quite works out: inns are pricey and don't even fully heal you, items are overpriced for what little they do, and equipment costs so much you might be better off skipping it entirely. Combat runs on turn-based RPG mechanics, and the sandbox structure means wandering, working, and getting exploited along the way are as much the game as the fighting is. Multiple endings are on offer, for whatever direction Lia's journey ends up taking.
