About
She reacts as you talk to her: expressions shift, outfits change, what she's doing and how she feels about you both move over time. It's a companion app, and it plays it straight.
You run it two ways. Offline, on your own graphics card, there's no subscription and nothing leaves your machine, but you'll want around 12GB of VRAM for a model worth talking to — below that she slows down and starts forgetting things. Online, it runs on their servers instead, nothing to install, and works fine from a phone browser if your hardware isn't up to it.
Changelog
1.0.6
- Three separate bugs were all showing up as "The model returned an unreadable response" — the main one being that imported models had no chat template, so Ollama refused every message.
- Fixed
- Imported models now get a chat template. Without one, Ollama refuses chat outright and the app reported it as an unreadable reply.
- Existing broken models repair themselves on the next message — no re-importing, no re-downloading.
- Context was capped at Ollama's 2048 default, cutting ~40% off the prompt including the formatting instructions. Now 8k by default.
- Errors from Ollama were thrown away instead of shown, which is why this took so long to find.
- Offline never logged failures at all. It does now.
- New
- Settings - Models - How much she remembers - 8k to 24k, each option showing its VRAM cost.
- Memory now measures your actual prompt size, so a long personality gets a shorter history instead of silently overflowing.
- 1.0.5
- Offline users: models have moved They now live in %APPDATA%KinkzAImodels instead of inside the install folder. That's what was breaking imports for anyone installed to Program Files, Windows blocks writes there, so the import sat "in progress" forever. If your model disappears after updating, it's still on your disk, just somewhere the app no longer looks. Use the new
- Open the import folder button in the model tab in settings and drop your .gguf back in.
- Subscriptions should now update themselves
- Delete your account (bottom of the Account page.)
- Added Open the import folder button
- Uninstalling asks whether to delete your characters, conversations and models. Defaults to keeping them, and never asks during an update.
- Installs to your user folder by default
- Import folder now sits in appdata instead of the app location (It can write files now no matter where you install the app)
- One model dropdown instead of two (stop confusion)
- A button to open the model Import folder
