Kingdom of Aethelgard: The Siege

A coup has already succeeded before the story starts: Malakor has overthrown the King of Aethelgard and is deep into a ritual for forbidden magic. Hiro sets out to help Princess Sophia reclaim her throne, but the plot ties her body to the stakes directly.

Sophia's purity seals a store of celestial energy, and unlocking it means gathering four elemental stones while her virtue itself becomes the final key, given willingly to a man of her choosing or taken from her by force. The story tracks whether Hiro secures that choice for her or Malakor claims her as his queen instead.

As a kinetic novel, there's no branching to manage; the player moves forward through Hiro and Sophia's chapters as the siege, the ritual, and the threat against her closes in, watching the outcome play out rather than steering it.
