Kimi knows she's just an avatar in a game, and she says so, constantly, while walking you through jerk-off instructions from the other side of the screen. That awareness is the whole hook: she talks past the fourth wall like she's aware someone's actually there, and she does not like being kept waiting.

Your friend Kiyomi is behind Kimi, but the game never lets you forget you're being watched and directed rather than just watching. It plays as a JOI experience built for presence rather than variety, so the loop is about following her pacing and reacting in real time rather than picking scenes from a menu.

In VR it puts you directly into the room with her; a non-VR and mobile preview mode also lets you walk around and dig through some menus, though the studio is upfront that this isn't the full experience they're building for the standalone mobile and PC versions. There's also a status room where you can screenshot and report issues, which tells you plainly this is still being worked on in front of you.
