Mira gets reincarnated into a modern city where magic never went away, and promptly enrolls at an academy for adventurers because apparently that's just how you get a degree now. Her circle fills out fast: an orc muscle-mommy, a demon girl with a mischievous streak, a shy satyr nerd, and an elf who won't stop lecturing anyone within earshot. The tone stays playful even as the world underneath it isn't.

Underneath the friend-group antics sits an older, darker history: dead eldritch gods, liches with agendas, ancient elven politics, and a human-supremacist movement gaining ground. Mira mostly just wants to keep her own life from spiraling while all of that grinds on around her.

Play follows the group through school life, odd jobs, botched money-making schemes, and skirmishes that tip between comedy and real stakes, with the sapphic relationships developing alongside the plot rather than sitting off to the side. It's a kinetic novel, so there's nothing to steer beyond reading — the story moves at its own pace and takes you with it.
