Invulnerable

You're a superhero for hire, except the job is enslaving the planet for an empire, and your first assignment is the school you used to attend. The premise plays it straight rather than winking at the camera, which makes the whole thing land stranger.

From that school you work outward, taking on other superheroes and villains one by one as the empire's reach grows. It's less a rescue story than a slow corporate takeover with capes.

The game runs as a sandbox RPG: you move between targets, fight or corrupt them depending on the encounter, and gradually convert resistance into compliance. Combat ties into a training system built around timed actions rather than menus, so beating someone down takes more than clicking through dialogue.
