About
You arrive in Ashmere with nothing, an outcast, and the only way up is to recruit, seduce, train, and eventually break the souls who cross your path into a household that answers to you. It's dark fantasy played straight: nobody here pretends this is a nice thing to do.
The world around you keeps moving. Ashmere holds 42 named townsfolk, a guide named Pip, street gossip, and raids that reset daily, so the manor you're building never sits still for long.
Day to day you fight turn-based battles that don't just end and dump you back to a menu, you stay in the world after the win. Souls you capture get worked into an intimacy matrix where you pick a type and position and let the scene stream out in text, then get put to use running the household, growing your strength, and pushing further into the 115 painted monster ranks waiting outside the walls. The earlier free build was an early alpha; what's here now is built over it as a genuinely different game, not a patch.
