House Arrest

A man arrives in a new city trying to outrun a bad past and lands in worse company almost immediately. It plays like a detective drama more than a fantasy power trip: mistakes get called in, favors get asked for, and nobody involved is entirely clean about it.

Underneath the new job and new city is old debt. He meets people who each want something from him, gets pulled into a conspiracy he didn't ask for, and finds out that falling for someone here comes with a price tag attached. Blackmail and pressure from people who hold real leverage over him keep pushing him back toward the life he was trying to leave.

The player moves through this as him, working through conversations, choices, and situations across a sandbox setup where relationships and circumstances shift depending on how much ground he gives up and to whom. It leans on real photography rather than drawn or rendered scenes, which shapes how grounded the whole thing feels.
