This third chapter picks up mid-crisis rather than starting one: the transformation already happened, the system is already running, and the story treats it as the new normal rather than a twist to dwell on. What's left is the fallout, fought out battle by battle as the remaining threats close in.

It plays as a kinetic novel with combat framing rather than player-directed strategy, so most of the work is reading through Souma's fights and choices as they're presented, with branching that leads to more than one ending. The tone leans hard into the body-horror and coercion angle its tags promise, monsters, mind control, and all, so anyone expecting a lighter magical-girl romp should look elsewhere.
