About
You play the companion to a rising hero, not the hero, which puts you in charge of loyalty, doubts, and the occasional betrayal instead of the sword work. The tone leans earnest rather than jokey, with exile from the party treated as a real possibility rather than a punchline.
A young man stands at a crossroads as the hero's party faces trials that test more than combat skill. Choices around trust and desire shape how the people around him see him, and how the journey ends for everyone involved, hero included.
It plays as a text-based visual novel: you read scenes, pick responses, and watch relationships bend toward loyalty or ruin depending on what you choose. There's no combat system to grind, just dialogue and consequence, with 2D character art standing in for animation.
