A town where humans and Beast-folk still can't quite trust each other after generations of conflict makes for an odd place to start over, but that's exactly what you're doing. The tone leans warm and funny more often than grim, with tension that builds slowly instead of arriving all at once.

Underneath the setup is a real question about whether old wounds between the two peoples can heal, and your choices end up mattering to more than just your own love life. Every person you meet has their own history and their own limits, and the game treats those limits as part of the story rather than an obstacle to route around.

You move through the town point-and-click style, working out relationships through dialogue choices and the odd puzzle rather than a fixed script. Trust and intimacy build separately for each character, and the game keeps track of how your decisions ripple outward into what Autumndale becomes. It's less about chasing scenes and more about deciding, slowly, who you actually want to become to these people.
