A demon is coming for the world, and the only thing strong enough to stop him is love, or at least a well-built deck of it. Girls of the Deep runs on that premise without irony, mixing dungeon crawling with card-based combat and asking you to win over a cast of monster girls along the way.

The setup is simple: dungeons crawl with monsters, a treacherous demon looms behind them, and the chosen girls you recruit are both your party and your romantic prospects. Beating him back means building bonds strong enough to matter.

Play centers on turn-based card battles, assembling and refining a deck as you push deeper into monster-infested dungeons. Progress ties directly into the girls you win over, with stripping, oral sex, and vaginal sex scenes marking the closer stretches of those relationships. It's a roguelike skeleton dressed up in fantasy romance, more about deck decisions than dialogue trees.
