Your engagement announcement turns into a nightmare when you learn your fiance's family cut a shady deal: she's to be sold off and enslaved as a noble's newest concubine. The law backs him, not you, and breaking it just makes you the next one in chains.

You play a young man dropped into an unfamiliar world built on magic, science, and technology, trying to scrape together allies and a plan to get her back before the sale becomes permanent. Around that main thread, the game fills in side stories about the people and factions you run into along the way, since a rescue like this rarely stays simple.

The game runs as a sandbox: you move between locations and story arcs, meeting elves, beastkin, halflings, other humans, and other women who end up serving or siding with you, with romance and more intimate moments developing as those relationships grow. Progress comes in chunks, new events and story beats added arc by arc rather than all at once, so the world keeps filling out the further you get into it.
