From Another World

Alex loses his parents in an interdimensional war, gets shoved through a portal, and comes back seven years later to find his old life gone and a shaky peace treaty in its place. Something about that peace doesn't sit right with him, and he's correct to worry.

He settles into rebuilding his life around the friends he grew up with, hunting for work while keeping an eye on the people he's reconnecting with. That domestic setup is the surface; underneath it, the world he returned to keeps giving him reasons to distrust the calm.

The game follows Alex through that reunion and slow unraveling, mixing everyday routine with the growing suspicion that his friends and his surroundings aren't what they first appear to be. As trust builds and lines blur, the story leans into corruption and shifting relationships rather than staying a simple slice-of-life about starting over.
