About
A tropical vacation goes sideways when Remy's tour group lands on Pom Pom Galli and finds the whole island empty, hotel and all, like everyone left in a hurry. It plays the setup straight for a beat before letting the charming company on the beach take over.
Stranded with a handful of women and no explanation for the missing staff, Remy has to figure out what happened while the vacation turns into something else entirely. The abandoned island doubles as a backdrop for both a mystery and a slow seduction, jungle ruins included.
You click through the island in point-and-click fashion, scavenging what's needed to get by and working through conversations and situations with each woman at her own pace, sandbox-style rather than on rails. Progress means poking around the beaches, the jungle, and whatever's left of the hotel as much as it means charming anyone in particular.
Changelog
- What’s new in Chapter 3 (v0.4):
- ✨ Nearly 900 brand-new, lovingly handcrafted images
- ✨ A shiny new achievement system (growing with future updates)
- ✨ An optional hint system at the end of each day to help track missed scenes
- ✨ Full text revision + polished sequences
- ✨ Audio overhaul, new credits page, UI improvements, bug fixes
- Plus—improvements since Early Access:
- ⚡ Clearer paths to tricky scenes (less frustrating trial & error)
- ⚡ A 2-level hint system (subtle vs detailed)
- ⚡ The long-awaited rollback function! (Hit BACKSPACE to go back)
- ⚡ More save slots for all your experiments
- ⚡ Extra bug fixes and polish
- At last! The latest public update for Forsaken Island (0.3) has been released! It adds a brand-new chapter to the adventure, as well as a number of improvements!
- The adventure continues! The demo now covers the first 2 days of our protagonists' stay on the island, adding almost 600 new images and more than doubling the playing time.
- Clickable areas in the game are now surrounded by a border for a bit less pixel hunting.
- The game now saves automatically with each new sequence, and a new tab has been added to the save loading screen so that you can load an autosave manually.
- Reworked file system for (I hope) faster data loading and fewer crashes.
- Revised english text (Thanks to Thug!)
- Various bugs and typos fixed
- Various music and sound effects changed
- (Although it is possible to load saves from older versions of the game, it is recommended to start a new game. Older saves may behave in unexpected ways or cause you to miss out on new content.)
- Seems like a .dll file was causing serious performance issues (crashes, framedrops, no sound...). I've changed it. Things should work a bit better now (I fell into the good old ‘it worked on my machine’ trick).
- Previous saves should still work with the new install.
- Small change to add a missing .dll to the installation files.
- initial zone release
