About
A debt, a desert, and a motel room where the mirror lags half a beat behind Alex's own movements — that's the whole setup, and it's enough. This is a slow-burn horror piece, mundane dread curdling into something surreal, and it doesn't pretend to be more than one night.
Alex checks into the Motel Horizon owing money he can't cover and driving a body he's not entirely sure survived the trip. Thirty dollars, a cold key, one room, and no way out until morning. The prologue plays that night straight through to a single unavoidable moment, then stops — the real answers wait for Season 1.
There's nothing to manage here beyond reading and clicking forward. The story is linear, told mostly through atmosphere and reflection, and it ends where it means to end, not where you steer it. Expect blood, gun violence, and one non-sexual body-horror transformation scene rather than anything explicit — this is the tone-setter, not the payoff.
