Escape to the Past

A time portal dumps you in 2022, picking up where "Escape to the Future" left off, and one of the first people you run into is yourself. Not a younger self in flashback, an actual second copy of you walking around the same timeline.

The premise is the whole hook: you have to build a life from scratch in a year that isn't yours, finding a place to live and a job while your past self is out there living his own version of events. Whatever gets settled between the two of you decides what this future actually looks like.

Day to day, that means working through the usual visual novel choices and encounters as you navigate a new city, a new routine, and the women who come with both, while the game keeps circling back to the doubled-timeline gimmick instead of forgetting about it. It's a slower, talkier ride than the setup suggests, and the twist carries more weight than any single scene does.
