Entangled Floors

A quiet move-in goes sideways fast, with a neighbor chasing a misdelivered package and a rooftop "photoshoot" that neither was on the schedule. The protagonist's main skill is dry sarcasm, which does nothing to slow the chaos down.

Underneath the jokes is a slow-burn setup: two very different women pulling the new tenant in opposite directions, plus a third watching quietly from the sidelines, with everything building toward something more than small talk in the hallway.
