Eir of Frohdiff

Eir is a 22-year-old woman from Frohdiff, a small village in the north of Valdrheim, and the game follows her climb from nobody to hero. It plays out as a text-based story dressed up with 2D CG art rather than animation, so the writing carries the weight rather than movement on screen.

Along the way Eir runs into transformation, combat, and monster girls, with her own growth pushing the story from one chapter to the next. The later chapters lean harder into side content, adding a handful of standalone quests that work like small games tucked inside the main one, alongside the continuing main story.

You read, choose, and fight your way through Eir's arc rather than click through animated scenes, since there are none and the game isn't pretending otherwise.
