Daughters of the Dragon

A peasant gets picked as a candidate for Dragon Rider, which has never happened to a man before, and nobody at court has a good explanation for it. That alone makes him an oddity among the Dragon Queen's other candidates and courtiers, who are, without exception, gorgeous women with their own agendas.

Getting dropped into the castle means getting dropped into its politics: shifting alliances, court intrigue, and magic nobody fully understands, all circling a throne that answers to dragons. The peasant-turned-candidate has to make sense of who can be trusted before the castle sorts that out for him.

Play centers on moving through this court as the one male Rider candidate anyone's ever seen, talking, allying, and getting closer to the women around him as the story unfolds through its visual novel scenes. It's a fantasy setup played mostly straight, with the romance and the political maneuvering sharing the same space rather than one overshadowing the other.
